Edition 2025 — Italian Cycling Championships Cuneo
2025 Edition — from Trieste to Gorizia
In 2025, the tricolour championship was hosted in Friuli-Venezia Giulia. The Elite Men's road race, valid as the 125th edition, was held on Sunday, June 29, 2025, over 228.8 km from Trieste to Gorizia, with a final circuit including the climb of San Floriano del Collio repeated three times.
The winner was Filippo Conca (Swatt Club) with a time of 5h15'21", ahead of Alessandro Covi and Thomas Pesenti. A surprise success that rewarded a breakaway that went the distance, gifting the Lombard rider the tricolour jersey. After the Friulian experience, the Italian Championships move to the province of Cuneo, in Piedmont, for 2026.
