2025 Edition
The first edition of the Italian Global Series Festival was held from June 21st to 28th, 2025, between Rimini and Riccione, directed by Marco Spagnoli and organized by APA - Audiovisual Producers Association. Among the most anticipated events was the premiere of the series Sandokan starring Can Yaman.
The International Competition, divided into Drama, Comedy, and Limited Series categories, awarded the Korean thriller "Doubt" as the best Drama series and the Spanish comedy "Celeste" as the best Comedy. Among the Italian productions, "The Bad Guy" won for best dramatic series, and "Hanno ucciso l'Uomo Ragno - La leggendaria storia degli 883" for best comedy. The awards ceremony took place at the Riccione Congress Center and was broadcast on Rai 2 on July 22nd, 2025.
