Italian Flag Wavers and Musicians Championships

The Historical Group of Megliadino San Vitale has been cultivating the tradition of flag waving for years, a competitive discipline practiced under the auspices of the Italian Federation of Flag Wavers (F.I.S.B.), recalling the roots of medieval and Renaissance historical pageants. In 2025, the group from the Bassa Padovana municipality participated in the Federation's national circuits and championships. The awarding and organization of the Italian Under 18 Championship 'Premio Vittorio Dini' and the Women's Championship, scheduled at the Palavitale for 2026, represented the culmination of this journey, bringing a high-level national competition to Megliadino San Vitale for the first time.
