Edition 2025 — Beach Rugby San Benedetto
The first stage of the Italian Beach Rugby Trophy in San Benedetto del Tronto took place on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at the Beach Arena, on the Riviera delle Palme. Eight teams participated in the debut of the circuit in San Benedetto, starting a tradition that was later consolidated with the subsequent assignment of the National Final to the Piceno city.
The 2025 Debut
San Benedetto del Tronto hosted its first stage of the Italian Beach Rugby Trophy on June 15, 2025, at the Beach Arena on the seafront of the Riviera delle Palme. The debut edition saw eight teams compete, confirming the region's interest in rugby on the sand.
In 2025, the national circuit's grand final was held in Senigallia; the success of the San Benedetto stage contributed to the growing role of the Municipality of San Benedetto del Tronto in the Marche beach rugby scene.
