IT.A.CÀ – Responsible Tourism Festival

IT.A.CÀ 2025 in Trentino

The seventeenth national edition of IT.A.CÀ – Migrants and Travelers saw its debut in Trentino-Alto Adige in the Ledro and Giudicarie Esteriori Valleys, within the UNESCO MAB Biosphere Reserve, from July 12th to 20th and from October 11th to 25th, 2025.

The program opened on July 12th at the multi-purpose center in Locca, Ledro, around the scientific exhibition "The Dilemma of Altruism", with a klezmer and Balkan concert in the square in Pieve di Ledro. The following days featured trekking from Faserno to Malga Vacìl with polenta from Storo, meetings on emigration from the Ledro Valley at the Bezzecca library, walks in the biosphere, and book presentations. The autumn phase offered conferences on cycling and the environment, a meeting on tourism, food, and the environment at the Lake Ledro Pile Dwelling Museum in Molina di Ledro, and a closing day in Tenno, dedicated to the values of cooperation, hospitality, and respect inherent in responsible tourism.
