Edition 2025 — Giglio Half Marathon
The inaugural edition of the Isola del Giglio Half Marathon was held on Sunday, October 12, 2025, during the weekend of October 11-12, marking the first road running race in the island's history, in the municipality of Isola del Giglio (Province of Grosseto).
The program offered three distances — 21 km, 15 km, and 10 km — along a route through villages, vineyards, and stretches of coastline overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea. Bib collection took place in Giglio Campese on Saturday afternoon (14:30-18:30) and Sunday morning (7:15-8:15), with free parking at the Campese Sports Field and a shuttle service to Giglio Porto, the starting point. The success of this first edition laid the foundation for what is now an annual event.
