Edition 2025 — Isnello Luminaria

In 2025, the Christmas Luminaria once again lit up the Christmas Eve in Isnello: on December 24th, in the late afternoon, the great bonfire illuminated Piazza Mazzini with the 'ntinna' topped by a lucky panettone. Around the flames, the community gathered to exchange greetings, share 'Le Corna' biscuits, and enjoy mulled wine while waiting for Midnight Mass. Local press confirmed the tradition remains vibrant and deeply felt.

The 2025 edition of the Isnello Christmas Luminaria took place as per tradition on the evening of December 24th in Piazza Mazzini, in the historic center of the Madonie village in the Province of Palermo. The large woodpile, prepared in the preceding weeks, was set alight at dusk, with the panettone placed atop the ntinna as a symbol of good luck.

Around the bonfire, the community shared local sweets called Le Corna and vino cotto, exchanging greetings before and after Midnight Mass. The festival was part of the usual Isnello Christmas celebrations, featuring popular rites such as the Frottole, with organization curated by the Pro Loco, the Youth Council, and the local town band.
