Ischitella Run

The sixth edition

The 6th Ischitella Run took place on Sunday, October 5, 2025, over the usual 10-kilometre distance, with the meeting point and start at Piazza Marchese De Vera d'Aragona. The race, organized by the ASD Runners Gymnasium Ischitella with the support of the Municipality of Ischitella and FIDAL Foggia, confirmed its dual nature as a competitive race and a popular event open to all.

The route

The 10 km course wound through the streets of the centre and the Ischitella territory, with the start and finish in the heart of the Gargano village, overlooking the Gargano National Park and Lake Varano.

A consolidated tradition

The Ischitella Run has established itself over the years as one of the most anticipated running events in the Capitanata: in the previous edition, held in November 2024 and valid as the Provincial Absolute Championship, victory went to Luca Bosco from Vieste ahead of about three hundred athletes at the start, testifying to the growing participation in the event.
