Iris, Arancino, Wine and Craft Festival

After the postponement of the 2024 edition, the Iris, Arancino, Wine and Craft Festival returned to Tremestieri Etneo from October 31 to November 3, 2025, at the Salvo D'Acquisto Municipal Amphitheatre.

For four days, coinciding with All Souls' Day, the event showcased the iconic specialties of local gastronomy: the fried iris, a soft pastry filled with ricotta or chocolate cream, and the arancino, stuffed with meat sauce, cheese, and pistachio. The stalls offered typical products and excellent wines from the Etna region.

Alongside the culinary offerings, the stalls of the market, open from 10:00 AM, featured handicrafts, toys, and various items, while shows, music, and group dances enlivened the evenings. An event that confirmed the success of the festival as one of the most beloved autumn events in the Catania area.
