Edition 2025 — Merano Brass Festival
2025 Edition — the 24th festival
The 24th edition of the festival took place at the Kursaal in Merano with two highly acclaimed concerts. Saturday, October 11, 2025, the Blasmusik Supergroup led by Thomas Gansch, featuring musicians from the Vienna Philharmonic, Mnozil Brass, LaBrassBanda, and Egerländer Musikanten, presented the "Blasmusik goes Hollywood" program, dedicated to the great soundtracks of Morricone, John Williams, Vangelis, and Korngold.
Saturday, October 18, 2025, it was the turn of the Cory Band, the historic Welsh brass band from the Rhondda Valley, which held the top spot in the world rankings for sixteen consecutive years (2007-2023), with a concert under the motto "World Class in Brass". Tickets were priced at 30 euros (15 euros reduced for youth and students), with a season ticket for both evenings at 50 euros.
