International Trani Tango 2025 — 12th Edition

The twelfth edition of the festival was held in Trani from July 6 to 13, 2025, welcoming over 700 tango dancers from all over the world. The event was divided into two phases: from July 6 to 9, parties, excursions, shows, and milongas; from July 10 to 13, masterclasses with the masters and evening milongas in Piazza Duomo.

The opening on July 6 in Piazza della Repubblica featured the traditional Argentine party with empanadas, asado, street food, cumbia, and open-floor tango. The "Tango out of town" format took participants to Polignano a Mare, the UNESCO site of Castel del Monte, and the Murgia region, with dinners and milongas in the countryside, as well as a "Trani by night" tour following in Piazzolla's footsteps, concluding with a grand milonga in Piazza Duomo with the Flirtango orchestra. From July 10, the Municipal Library in Piazza della Libertà hosted the masters' lessons, while Piazza Duomo transformed into a dance floor under the stars every evening.
