Edition 2025 — International Tiber Descent

In 2025 too, the International Tiber Descent brought dozens of participants to navigate the river from Città di Castello to Rome in multiple daily stages, passing through Umbertide in the Umbrian section. By canoe, kayak, packraft, SUP, or on foot, the event combined outdoor sports, discovery of riverside villages, and environmental awareness.

The 2025 edition of the International Tiber Descent confirmed the formula of the multi-stage crossing along the Tiber, from Città di Castello to Rome, passing through Umbertide and the other villages of the Umbrian section. Participants, Italians and foreigners, tackled the river by canoe, kayak, packraft, SUP, or walking along the banks, in an experience that blends sport, river tourism, and environmental protection. In 2025 too, there were activities for monitoring and cleaning the river along the route.
