The great street food tour arrives in the heart of Jesi
International Street Food in Jesi is the Marche region's stop on the largest traveling festival dedicated to street food in Italy, organized by International Street Food Italia, the association of street vendors A.I.R.S. founded and chaired by Alfredo Orofino, known as the "king of street food." The event brings to the heart of the Municipality of Jesi, in the Vallesina area of the Province of Ancona, a large gathering of food trucks and mobile kitchens that for several days animates the city squares with flavors, aromas, and traditions from around the world.
The gastronomic offering is the true heart of the event: a journey that combines Italian regional excellences with international specialties. Among the most popular offerings are the fragrant Hungarian kürtős kalács, Abruzzese arrosticini, Argentine angus, pulled pork, fried fish, handmade Ascolana olives, fried pizza, Sicilian cuisine, and the unmissable smash burgers. To complete the offer, there are craft beers from small Italian and international breweries, traditional desserts, and various gluten-free options, ensuring an experience suitable for everyone.
Designed for families, young people, and good food enthusiasts, the event combines taste and conviviality in a festive atmosphere experienced outdoors, among the most evocative streets and squares of Jesi's historic center. Admission is always free, and the stands remain open from lunch until late evening, making the event an ideal destination for an informal meal, an aperitif, or an evening with friends.
Included in the national calendar of the International Street Food tour, the Jesi stop is a recurring event that is renewed year after year, often in collaboration with Confartigianato Ancona - Pesaro Urbino. The initiative helps to liven up the city center and promote the culture of quality street food, handmade and attentive to the variety of offerings, confirming Jesi among the leading cities in the Marche region for this major traveling gastronomic gathering.
