An international competition for young talents

The International Music Competition City of Belluno is one of the most important musical events in the calendar for Belluno, the capital of the Dolomite province. Every spring, it attracts hundreds of young musicians, both Italian and from around the world, who compete in various disciplines before qualified juries.

Many disciplines, many venues

The competition covers a wide range of categories: instrumental music, modern singing, opera, chamber music, and choral groups. Auditions and concerts take place in the city's most prestigious venues — the Auditorium, Palazzo Fulcis, and Teatro Buzzati — enlivening the city center for several weeks.

An international vocation

The strong presence of foreign participants, from countries like China, Korea, Germany, and Portugal, testifies to the event's international scope. It is organized by the Associazione Gocce di Sole in collaboration with the Municipality of Belluno. Concerts are free to attend and the finals are broadcast live on the radio, while young musicians discover the Belluno region with visits to iconic sites such as the Vajont Dam and Zumelle Castle. An event that combines high-level musical training with cultural promotion of the territory.
