Edition 2025 — IJF
The 2025 edition of IJF, the nineteenth, filled Perugia from April 9 to 13 with 214 events and 580 speakers from around the world. Among the distinguished guests were Nobel Peace Prize laureate Maria Ressa, Julie Pace (Executive Editor of Associated Press), the 2025 Oscar-winning director Yuval Abraham (No Other Land), the editor-in-chief of Kyiv Independent Olga Rudenko, Mexican reporter Lydia Cacho, and Cambridge Analytica whistleblower Christopher Wylie. There was also a focus on Italian journalism with Cecilia Sala, Stefania Battistini, Lucia Goracci, Nello Scavo, and an exclusive monologue by Roberto Saviano titled "Resistere!" (Resist!). As always, all events were free to enter and streamed live.
