Edition 2025 — Folklore Festival

The 2025 edition of the International Folklore Festival took place on Saturday, August 9, 2025, in Ruvo di Puglia, starting at 8:00 PM on the parvis of the Co-Cathedral. The event featured folk groups from Italy, Portugal, and Turkey, with traditional dances, folk music, and period costumes. The event, with free admission, was organized by the Lapecheronza cultural association with the patronage of the Municipality of Ruvo di Puglia and the Italian Federation of Folk Traditions.

International Folklore Festival 2025

On Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 8:00 PM, the parvis of the Co-Cathedral of Ruvo di Puglia hosted a new edition of the International Folklore Festival. Folk groups from Italy, Portugal, and Turkey took the stage, offering traditional dances, folk music, and period costumes in an evening dedicated to the encounter between cultures.

The event, with free admission, was organized by the Lapecheronza cultural association with the patronage of the Municipality of Ruvo di Puglia and the Italian Federation of Folk Traditions, as part of the Erasmus+ Youth project promoted by the National Youth Agency. Alongside the evening show, the program included guided tours of the city's historical sites and the Terra di Bari, as well as itinerant performances in other Apulian towns.
