International Festival of Solidarity Among the Peoples of the World – Music, Dance and Folk Traditions

2nd Edition – August 10 and 11, 2025

The second edition of the International Festival of Solidarity Among the Peoples of the World was held in Messina on August 10 and 11, 2025, as part of the E-state Messina program. The event, organized by the Arca senza confini Association, saw the participation of approximately 60 folk artists from Bulgaria (Kyustendil), Chile (Ballet Folclórico Telares de Doñihue), Colombia (a group from La Plata with the Rumichaca orchestra of Neiva), and Sicily (the "Sicilia e dintorni" group from Messina).

On August 10, the grand folk parade traveled through the southern villages – Ponte Schiavo, Briga San Paolo, and Giampilieri Marina – bringing rhythms, costumes, and dances from around the world to the streets. On August 11, the closing gala at the Giardino Corallo brought all the groups together on the same stage for a celebration dedicated to peace, brotherhood, and solidarity among peoples.
