INNESTO 2025: three days of greenery and culture in Comiso
The second edition of INNESTO – Urban Weavings took place from May 23 to 25, 2025, in the historic center of Comiso, with the inauguration on Friday the 23rd at 6:00 PM. The program was developed across the festival's five sections: Innesto Design with temporary gardens by landscape architects, Innesto Talk with conferences on science, agriculture, and sustainability, Innesto Live with evening concerts and performances, Innesto Lab with workshops for adults and children, and Innesto Market, the botanical exhibition and market with nurseries and collectors from all over Italy.
Guests of the 2025 edition included climatologist Andrea Giuliacci, science communicator Massimo Polidoro, food storyteller Giusi Battaglia, journalist Alessandra Viola, and numerous agronomists, botanists, and landscape architects. The squares of the center – from Piazza Fonte Diana to Piazza delle Erbe – were filled with flowers, installations, and visitors, confirming the success of the event dedicated to greenery.
