Edition 2025 — Infinitamente Piccolo
2025 Edition – "Fantastic Creatures"
The fifth edition of Infinitamente Piccolo was held on July 11 and 12, 2025, dedicated to the theme of fantastic creatures, and in particular to sirens and their imagery. The festival, directed by Fulvia Toscano, took place between the villa of the Fondazione Famiglia Piccolo di Calanovella in Capo d'Orlando and Palazzo Milio in Ficarra.
The first day, opened by the president of the Foundation Andrea Pruiti Ciarello, featured a multi-voice conversation with scholars Salvatore Ferlita, Orazio Labbate, Riccardo Mondo, and Dario Tomasello, exploring literary, anthropological, and psychoanalytical perspectives on sirens, followed by a reading by Elio Crifò from Tomasi di Lampedusa, Kafka, and Malaparte.
The second day, in Ficarra, included greetings from Mayor Basilio Ridolfo, the preview of the exhibition "Yle. Blue like a siren" by sculptor Stefania Pennacchio, and a concert by the Orchestra Sinfonica Siciliana in the gardens of the villa. The festival was held in collaboration with the NaxosLegge festival.
