Inequilibrio Festival

The 28th edition of Inequilibrio Festival, curated by the Armunia Foundation under the artistic direction of Angela Fumarola, was held from June 20 to July 12, 2025, between the Castello Pasquini in Castiglioncello and the medieval village of Rosignano Marittimo, in the province of Livorno. The year's theme, "Investigating the Invisible," invited audiences to reveal what usually escapes the gaze. The program featured over 100 artists for two weeks of award-winning shows, world premieres, site-specific performances, masters of the stage, and young talent, as well as meetings, concerts, workshops, and participatory actions. Works on the program included Cinema Impero by Eritrean performer Muna Mussie, Untitled by choreographer Michael Getman, and L'avvenire by Silvia Rampelli. The edition also hosted the first showcase of the Toscana Terra Accogliente project, the network of Tuscan artistic residencies.
