Edition 2025 — India Città Aperta

The inaugural edition of India Città Aperta brought Teatro India in Rome to life from July 8 to August 3, 2025. Promoted by the Fondazione Teatro di Roma with Dominio Pubblico ETS, it transformed the indoor halls, the outdoor Arena, and the garden into a cultural hub with over fifty events and more than one hundred artists, ranging from theatre and stand-up to circus, music, cinema, and podcasts.

India Città Aperta 2025

The inaugural edition of the summer festival at Teatro India took place in Rome, in the Ostiense district in the shadow of the Gazometro, from July 8 to August 3, 2025. Promoted by the Fondazione Teatro di Roma in collaboration with Dominio Pubblico ETS, the festival offered the city an immersive experience designed to foster dialogue between different generations.

The program, featuring over fifty events and more than one hundred guest artists, ranged from workshops for children and families to new theatre formats, stand-up, and circus, as well as music, cinema, podcasting, and publishing. Events in the Arena were ticketed at a flat rate of 10 euros, while activities in the Garden Area and the BeiRicordi Show remained free, laying the foundations for a summer event destined to return.
