Edition 2025 — Improvisation Festival

In 2025, Sermoneta confirmed its vocation as a 'village-stage': alongside the Pontino Music Festival and the summer events promoted by the Municipality, interest in improvisational theater grew in the Pontine territory thanks to the work of local companies such as the Maia Compagnia Teatrale, linked to the national Improteatro network.

2025, at the roots of the festival

The 2025 season saw Sermoneta as the protagonist of a summer rich in cultural appointments: the 61st edition of the Pontino Music Festival, the international Sermoneta in Folklore festival, and the Secular Fair of San Michele at the end of September. In this context, the improvisational theater scene also consolidated in the province of Latina, animated by groups like the Maia Compagnia Teatrale, active between Latina and the Lepini villages in collaboration with the national Improteatro network, with shows, trial lessons, and workshops open to everyone.

A path that paved the way for the Improvisational Theater Festival included by the Municipality of Sermoneta in the 2026 Summer Events calendar, scheduled for September 12 and 13 in the medieval village.
