Edition 2025 — Immaculate Conception Fair

On December 8, 2025, Castrì di Lecce renewed the Immaculate Conception Feast and Fair, blending devotion with rural tradition. From the morning, the town streets hosted a market of livestock, agricultural tools, and various goods, while throughout the day, food stalls featuring Salento specialties and musical groups enlivened the town center in a popular festive atmosphere.

The 2025 edition of the Immaculate Conception Feast and Fair took place on Monday, December 8, 2025, in Castrì di Lecce, in the Province of Lecce, in the heart of Salento.

The day followed its usual format: in the early morning, the traditional market with stalls selling livestock, farming tools, and various goods filled the town streets, attracting inhabitants from neighboring towns. Throughout the day, numerous food stalls offered the flavors of Salento cuisine, while musical groups accompanied the festivities until the evening, uniting devotion to the Madonna with the conviviality of a typical village fair.
