Illumina - Candles in the Village

Third edition: Saturday, August 2, 2025

The 2025 edition of Illumina - Candles in the Village confirmed the formula that made the Patrica event recognizable in the province of Frosinone. At 8:00 PM, the historic center turned off its electric lights to make room for over 15,000 candles, arranged along stairways, alleys, small squares, and panoramic overlooks.

From 9:30 PM, the village transformed into a sprawling stage. Performers included La Musichetta di Stromberg with swing and vintage rhythms, the Shanti&Songs String Trio with an international repertoire, the H2O Acoustic Trio with acoustic reinterpretations, and Le Muse Trio, ranging from classical to contemporary. The Farfalle Luminose (Luminous Butterflies) roamed the village with roving light performances, while the DJ set by GEEL closed the evening. A street food area offered traditional Ciociaria dishes. The event, with free admission and designed for families, was hailed by the local press as a public success.
