Edition 2025 — Il Volo degli Asini

In 2025, the village of Brisighella had not yet hosted Il Volo degli Asini, a community festival established in 2026 to symbolically carry on the legacy of the Medieval Festivals. However, the spring season in Brisighella was still enlivened by traditional events in the historic center, awaiting the new festival conceived by the citizen collective 'gli Asini'.

Il Volo degli Asini debuts in Brisighella, in the province of Ravenna, with its first edition in 2026. In 2025, the event had not yet taken place: the festival was created to breathe new life into the village's tradition after the abolition of the historic Medieval Festivals.

That spring, the historic center of Brisighella, between Piazza Marconi and the famous Via degli Asini, was still alive with its usual cultural and tourist events, in a village in the Emilia-Romagna Apennines that is among the most beautiful in Italy. The new community festival, conceived as a multicultural and multigenerational event with free admission, would arrive the following year.
