Edition 2025 — Il Trovatore in Grosseto

In the summer of 2025, Piazza Dante in Grosseto hosted grand open-air opera with Pietro Mascagni's Cavalleria rusticana, performed on Saturday, 26 July at 9:15 PM. Featuring the Grosseto Symphony Orchestra conducted by Roberto Gianola and the Corale Santa Cecilia of Empoli, the evening confirmed the Maremma capital's summer operatic tradition.

In 2025, the operatic evening in the historic centre of Grosseto was dedicated to Cavalleria rusticana by Pietro Mascagni, scheduled for Saturday, 26 July at 9:15 PM in Piazza Dante Alighieri.

On the podium of the Grosseto Symphony Orchestra was conductor Roberto Gianola, accompanied by the Corale Santa Cecilia of Empoli. The open-air production, set within the Medici walls, attracted a large audience, reaffirming the city's bond with the great Italian operatic repertoire.
