Il Trabocco Canta al Mare

Third edition — August 10, 2025

On Sunday, August 10, 2025, from 7:00 PM, the Punta Le Morge trabocco in Torino di Sangro hosted the third edition of Il Trabocco Canta al Mare. On stage was the singer-songwriter and musician from Lanciano, Luigi Friotto (born 1981), accompanied by Nicola Gaeta, Valentina Di Deo, Riccardo Ciccone, Francesco Mangifesta, and Benedetta Desiderioscioli.

The repertoire drew from the album Dedalo and the single Babele. True to its formula, the music was directed exclusively toward the open sea: the audience watched only from the water, moored in front of the trabocco's arms aboard boats, dinghies, canoes, kayaks, and pedal boats. The event was organized by the Lu Travocche association with the collaboration of the municipal administration, the Civil Protection, and the Vasto Port Authority.
