Edition 2025 — Placito Capuano

The tenth edition of the Placito Capuano took place in Capua on May 17 and 18, 2025, celebrating the tenth anniversary of the re-enactment. Two days of open monuments, art exhibitions, concerts, guided tours, and the theatrical re-enactment of the 960 AD document, dedicated to the memory of historian Pompeo Pelagalli.

In 2025, the Placito Capuano celebrated its tenth anniversary with the tenth edition, held in Capua on Saturday, May 17, and Sunday, May 18. The event, promoted by the "Aperti per Voi - Capua" group of the Italian Touring Club with consul Annamaria Troili, featured the extraordinary opening of city monuments, artist exhibitions, musical concerts, guided tours, and the traditional theatrical re-enactment of the 960 AD trial, considered the first document written in Italian vernacular. The edition was dedicated to the memory of Professor Pompeo Pelagalli, a city historian and a key figure of the Italian Touring Club. In 2025, the city of the Terra di Lavoro confirmed its role as "the place of the language," attracting visitors and history enthusiasts from all over Campania.
