Edition 2025 — Il Paese Diventa Presepe

The 28th edition of Il Paese Diventa Presepe in Castro dei Volsci took place between late December 2024 and Epiphany 2025, enjoying great public success. Along Via Civita, over a hundred actors recreated the forty scenes of 19th-century rural life that make the Ciociaria living nativity famous, featuring tastings of local products and free admission.

The 28th edition of the living nativity in Castro dei Volsci, in the province of Frosinone, recorded a huge turnout. The historic center of the Lazio village was once again transformed into a large open-air nativity scene, with ancient crafts, scenes of rural life, and traditional local flavors along the torch-lit alleys.

As per tradition, the event — organized by the association of the same name together with the Municipality and the Pro Loco — combined historical re-enactment with the conviviality of Christmas, confirming its status as one of the most beloved Christmas events in Lazio.
