2025: The Return to the Sea

The year 2025 represents a decisive stage in the long history of Il Nuovo Trionfo. After an impressive restoration project initiated in February 2024 and lasting approximately twenty-one months, the historic trabaccolo was relaunched on November 20, 2025, by the Compagnia della Marineria Tradizionale, its owner.

This rebirth has brought the last trabaccolo of the Upper Adriatic back to sailing, paving the way for the Centenary Cruise and the vessel's return to Cattolica, its birthplace, scheduled for June 2026. The restoration has preserved a unique testimony of the Adriatic shipbuilding tradition born in the shipyards of Cattolica.
