Edition 2025 — Il Nero di Bagnoli
Il Nero di Bagnoli 2025, the 46th edition
Organized by the Pro Loco Bagnoli Irpino-Laceno with the patronage of the Municipality of Bagnoli Irpino, the 2025 edition was spread over six days: Friday 17, Saturday 18, and Sunday 19 October, then Friday 24, Saturday 25, and Sunday 26 October. On Fridays, the stalls opened from 6:00 PM, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 AM.
The map presented by the Pro Loco featured 118 stalls (113 plus 5 extras) distributed between Piazza al Castello, the Mother Church area, Largo San Rocco, via De Rogatis, and Largo San Domenico. Two Pro Loco stations, at Largo San Rocco and Largo San Domenico, distributed roasted chestnuts.
On the menu were the Bagnoli Black Truffle along with porcini mushrooms, stuffed ravioli, grilled meat, spit-roasted veal, caciocavallo, walnuts and hazelnuts, and Irpinian cured meats. Alongside the gastronomy, there was folk music and traditional dances, and public access to the Norman Castle, the wooden choir of the Mother Church, and the churches of San Domenico and Santa Margherita. The organizational setup included four medical stations, five areas with restrooms, and shuttles from the parking lots at the Vittorio Gatti Sports Field and the PIP areas of Bagnoli Irpino and Montella to Piazza Matteotti.
