Il Mese di San Giovanni

The 2025 edition of Il Mese di San Giovanni confirmed the central role of this event in the identity of Sesto San Giovanni. For a whole month, the city came alive with concerts, book presentations, guided tours, civic awards, and moments of celebration spread across the neighbourhoods and historic villas. The travelling format brought the patronal festival closer to citizens of all ages, while the religious dimension, with the Holy Mass dedicated to San Giovanni Battista, kept alive the traditional meaning of the event. Organised by the Pro Loco in collaboration with the Municipality, the festival celebrated the memory and soul of a city with a strong identity in northern Milan.
