Edition 2025 — Il Fanciullo e il Folklore

The 2025 edition marked the 38th stage of "Il Fanciullo e il Folklore," the annual event of the Italian Federation of Popular Traditions dedicated to the new generations. As per tradition, hundreds of children from all over Italy performed with their folk groups in dances, songs, and traditional games, animating the streets and squares of the host city with the colors of regional costumes.

The 38th edition of "Il Fanciullo e il Folklore" confirmed the established formula of the event organized by the Italian Federation of Popular Traditions: a national gathering that brings together hundreds of children and teenagers every year, accompanied by their folk groups, to celebrate the heritage of Italian popular traditions together.

During the days of the event, the young protagonists brought to life costumed parades, gala performances, and traditional games, in an atmosphere of celebration and friendship that also involved the public. The success of the edition served as a prelude to the historic milestone of 2026, when the event arrives in Sicily, in Licata, for the first time.
