Edition 2025 — IGREEN

In 2025, IGREEN was not yet presented to the public: the year was dedicated to preparing the second edition of the BLU Spazio delle Arti cycle, with the launch of the European open call for artists working with recycled, reclaimed, or natural materials. Applications closed in early 2026, leading to the selection of the seventeen artists later exhibited at the Museo del Fiume in Nazzano the following March.

IGREEN in 2025: the open call that built the exhibition

2025 saw no exhibition in Nazzano: it was the year of the project's gestation. After IBLUE, the first stage of the cycle dedicated to the planet's colors hosted in 2024 at the BLU Spazio delle Arti galleries in Rome, the association launched the open call for artists for the second edition, open to adult artists residing or active in European Union countries.

The call invited artists to work with recycled, reclaimed, or natural materials, without technical constraints: painting, sculpture, installation, and textile art were all accepted on equal terms. Applications closed on January 31, 2026, and the selection, entrusted to curator Barbara Pavan, defined the group of seventeen authors later gathered at the Museo del Fiume from March 14 to 28, 2026, with the patronage of the Municipality of Nazzano.
