I Suoni della Pietra – Summer Concerts in Torre Bormida

The 2025 edition of I Suoni della Pietra confirmed the formula of the festival spread across the villages of the Langhe and the Asti Langa. In Torre Bormida, on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at 9:15 PM, Piazza Michele Ferrero hosted "Peter and the Wolf", the famous musical fable by Sergei Prokofiev, featuring a youth wind orchestra and a live narrator. Each solo instrument gave voice to a character in the story: flute, clarinet, oboe, and trombone accompanied the tale, guided by the narration that led the audience through the scenes.

The concert, with free admission, attracted a large audience, confirming the bond between live music and the promotion of the heritage of the Cuneo Alta Langa, in Piedmont. The festival, promoted by the Municipality of Bergolo, also offered concerts of classical music, jazz, and chamber ensembles in neighboring villages.
