Edition 2025 — I Suoni degli Dei
The 2025 edition
The 17th edition of I Suoni degli Dei kicked off on Easter Monday, April 21, 2025, and continued on Saturday mornings at 11:00 AM in May, September, and October, until October 25. A total of twelve free concerts were hosted among the ruins of ancient stone dwellings, on the churchyard of Santa Maria a Castro, and at the sites of Li Cannati and Colle Serra, along the Path of the Gods in the municipality of Praiano (province of Salerno).
The repertoire ranged from Antonio Vivaldi to Arcangelo Corelli, from Domenico Scarlatti to Claude Debussy, interpreted by violins, violas, cellos, double basses, flutes, piccolos, guitars, clarinets, and euphoniums. Among the most applauded events were the concert on May 3 at Colle La Serra with the Duo Iris—Rosa Martinangelo on violin and Carmen Armenante on viola—playing works by Corelli, Mozart, Schubert, and Elgar, and the spring closing on May 31 in the square of the church of Santa Maria a Castro.
Also in 2025, the event, directed by Gennaro Amendola and organized by the Municipality of Praiano with the Associazione Pelagos, A.M.C.A., and the San Gennaro Parish, remained free and open to all, with Tra.Vel.Mar boat + bus connections from Salerno, Maiori, and Minori.
