I Foche de Sant'Antone (St. Anthony Abbot Bonfires)

In 2025, «I Foche de Sant'Antone» confirmed in Alberona the strong bond between popular faith, community, and gastronomy. The day began in the morning with the construction of the artistic bonfires; at 6:00 PM, the committee evaluated the compositions created throughout the village.

In the evening, at 7:00 PM, the blessing of the fires and at 7:30 PM the lighting kicked off the festival. Along the tasting route, traditional pancotto, beans with pork rinds, and sausage sandwiches were offered, while musical performances, stilt walkers, and jugglers accompanied the night, which ended with fireworks. The competition awarded half a pig to the most beautiful bonfire, a leg to the second place, and the head to the third. The event was organized by the Municipality of Alberona with the BellaVita Eventi agency and the Pro Loco.
