I Concerti nel Parco

A classic of the Roman summer

Established in 1991 by the I Concerti nel Parco Cultural Association, this festival has become one of the most beloved and well-attended events of the Rome summer season. Long hosted under the pine trees of Villa Doria Pamphilj, the event has found its home in recent years in the park of the Casa del Jazz, on Viale di Porta Ardeatina, in the Ardeatino district of the Capital, in the heart of the Lazio region. Its vocation has always been the fusion of different genres: classical and popular music, theatre, singer-songwriter performances, dance, and spoken word coexist in a single programme.

The 2026 36th Edition

From July 1st to August 5th, 2026, the festival offers a programme full of innovation, giving space to both great performers and young talents. Shows generally take place at 9:00 PM in the evocative park of the Casa del Jazz, while some evenings reach Frascati, in the Castelli Romani area, and Capranica, in the province of Viterbo.

• July 1st — "La misteriosa scomparsa di W", with Stefano Benni and Ambra Angiolini
• July 3rd — "Cohen, Bowie, Prince, Michael. Gratitude", with the Gabriele Coen Quartet and Giancarlo De Cataldo
• July 7th — Brazilian guitarist Yamandu Costa
• July 11th — Agnese Valle and the Orchestra Papillon with "L'orchestraèpop"
• July 12th — Monica Guerritore in "Mentre rubavo la vita", based on the poems of Alda Merini
• July 19th — the Barcelona Gipsy balKan Orchestra
• July 22nd (Frascati) — Peppe Servillo, Javier Girotto, and Natalio Mangalavite in "L'anno che verrà"
• July 25th — Isabella Ragonese and Rodrigo D'Erasmo in "Gli amori difficili"
• July 31st — Jacopo Fo and Filippo Timi recount the songs of Dario Fo
• August 2nd — the Omar Sosa Trio

Atmosphere and Audience

The strength of the festival lies in the combination of artistic quality and natural setting: attending an open-air concert on a cool summer evening in a park just outside the historic centre has always been the hallmark that has made I Concerti nel Parco a ritual for the Roman public. The programme alternates light and classical music, jazz, world music, narrative theatre, and literary readings, with a particular focus on original productions and world premieres.

While maintaining an international scope with guests from all over the world, the event remains deeply linked to Rome and Lazio, contributing to the city's summer cultural offering and enhancing green spaces like the Casa del Jazz.
