Edition 2025 — I Cioccolati del Mediterraneo

The third edition of I Cioccolati del Mediterraneo took place from February 14 to 16, 2025, at the MAITO in Maglie. Three days of tastings, meetings, show cooking, and sensory experiences, opened by the gourmet Choco & Love Dinner, featuring Italian and international master chocolatiers and the second Tavoletta d'Oro award ceremony in Salento.

The third edition of I Cioccolati del Mediterraneo was held from February 14 to 16, 2025, at the Museo Archeoindustriale di Terra d'Otranto in Maglie. The event kicked off on Friday the 14th with the exclusive Choco & Love Dinner, a gourmet dinner inspired by cocoa, and continued over the weekend with a rich program of guided tastings curated by the Compagnia del Cioccolato.

Guest chocolatiers included Guido Gobino from Piedmont, Simone Sabaini of Sabadì from Sicily, Johonny Spagnolo of Aroko Chocolate from Veneto, Jaume Martorell of Chocolates Maüa from the Balearic Islands, and Aris Flokas of Kakau Worship from Greece, with the Maglio family of Maglio Arte Dolciaria representing Salento.

On the morning of Saturday, February 15, for the second consecutive year, Maglie hosted the presentation of the national Tavoletta d'Oro award to the best Italian chocolatiers.
