Edition 2025 — I AM / IO SONO

The 2025 edition of I AM / IO SONO brought the Women's Photography Award to the Zodiac Hall of the National Etruscan Museum of Villa Giulia in Rome, from April 11 to May 4. On that occasion, the winning and finalist works of the international call told the story of female identity in dialogue with the extraordinary archaeological heritage of the venue, confirming the formula that combines contemporary photography, museum spaces, and reflection on themes of awareness.

In 2025, I AM / IO SONO chose the National Etruscan Museum of Villa Giulia as its setting, staging the collective exhibition of the Women's Photography Award in the evocative Zodiac Hall. From April 11 to May 4, the selected photographs, signed by authors of different nationalities, offered a plural look at the identity and experience of women.

The edition reaffirmed the project's vocation, promoted by Roma Fotografia with the Municipio I Centro: to make photography a tool for empowerment and social comparison, putting contemporary language in dialogue with the capital's historical and artistic heritage.
