Edition 2025 — Humus Festival

The first edition of Humus Festival took place in Teramo from September 26th to 28th, 2025, with the theme 'Ancient roots, future thinking'. Three free days of conferences, concerts, and performances transformed the historic center into a laboratory of ideas on intergenerational dialogue, sustainability, and the value of community. Guests included geopolitical analyst Dario Fabbri, anthropologist Mauro Ivo Van Aken, and philosopher Lorenzo Maria Pacini.

The first edition of Humus Festival

From September 26th to 28th, 2025, Teramo hosted the first edition of Humus Festival, conceived by the Hypsis Association with the Braga Conservatory. The festival, with free admission, animated iconic city landmarks such as the Delfico Library, the Ipogeo, and the Villa Comunale.

Program and guests

Each day opened with Rituals of calm and deep listening at the Ipogeo. Among the protagonists were geopolitical analyst Dario Fabbri, anthropologist Mauro Ivo Van Aken with the lecture Decarbonizing the Imaginary, philosopher Lorenzo Maria Pacini, and Teramo-based performer Elisa Di Eusanio with the show Club 27. On the musical side, the Braga Conservatory Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Simone Genuini, performed Bacalov and Dvořák's Symphony No. 9 'From the New World'. The event closed with the Peace Festival, a theatrical reinterpretation of a 16th-century historical event from Teramo.
