Horcynus Festival 2025 - 23rd edition

The 23rd edition of the Horcynus Festival was held from July 25 to August 11, 2025, at the Horcynus Orca Park in Capo Peloro, Messina, with the theme "Utopias, Dystopias, Eutopias" and under the artistic direction of Franco Jannuzzi and Giacomo Farina.

The inauguration on July 25 was entrusted to the Pelorias Sea Sound concert, featuring musicians such as Killabeatmaker, Afrodream, V I C K, magikAAAAArp, and Newma, in a blend of jazz, electronic, and world music. The program featured the "Archipelagos of Vision" cinema section, the Spanish and Latin American film festival "La Nueva Ola" (with a tribute to Carlos Saura), the design initiatives "Le Jurnate del Design," and numerous educational workshops for children and teenagers.

Venues included not only the Capo Peloro Park but also Novara di Sicilia, Forte Petrazza, and the MACHO museum, in a free-admission program promoted by the Horcynus Orca Foundation and the Community Foundation of Messina.
