Edition 2025 — The Passion of Christ
The 2025 edition unfolded throughout Holy Week. Wednesday, April 16th, the pageant of characters in period costumes began at 6:30 PM from the middle school square; at 8:00 PM, the sacred representation of the Passion of Christ took place in Piazza San Francesco (Pier Giorgio Frassati Association), and at 10:30 PM, the Via Dolorosa was held along Via Duca, organized by the Pro Loco.
Thursday, April 17th: "Procession of the Saints" from the Maria SS. del Carmelo Church, the Lord's Supper with the washing of the feet, visit to the Altars of Repose ("Viaggiu di li Burgisi", Maria SS. Addolorata Association), and the procession of Christ with the Cross from the Mother Church to Calvary. Friday, April 18th: journey of the Real Maestranza, enthronement of Christ on the Cross, funeral marches, the Scinnenza of the "San Giuseppe" Artisans' Circle, and the solemn procession of the Urn with the Via Crucis. The Easter Vigil on Holy Saturday and the Easter Sunday masses concluded the rites.
