Edition 2025 — Holy Week in Troia

In 2025, the Holy Week Rites of Troia took place from April 13, Palm Sunday, to April 20, Easter Sunday. Faithful and visitors followed the Living Passion, the Procession of the Chains, the Procession of the Mysteries, and the Procession of the Kiss through the historic centre of the Monti Dauni, confirming the vitality of a centuries-old tradition of the Municipality of Troia.

2025 Holy Week in Troia

The 2025 edition followed the entire calendar of Troia's Easter celebrations. On Good Friday, April 18, the Procession of the Chains took place in the morning, with the five hooded barefoot penitents between the Church of San Basilio Magno and the Church of Sant'Anna, followed in the evening by the Procession of the Mysteries with the statue groups from the Cathedral.

On Easter Sunday, April 20, the cycle concluded with the Procession of the Kiss, the meeting between the statue of the Risen Christ and that of the Madonna in front of the Cathedral, amidst the chants and emotion of the Monti Dauni community, in the province of Foggia.
