Holy Week 2025 in Militello in Val di Catania

In 2025, the Easter rites took place according to tradition, with Good Friday on April 18th and Easter Sunday on April 20th. The Baroque village of the Val di Noto experienced its most heartfelt processions: from the Ecce Homo on Holy Wednesday to the living Stations of the Cross at Mount Calvary, from the solemn Deposition from the Cross to the evening procession of the Dead Christ led by the Archconfraternity of the SS. Crocifisso al Calvario, up to the Risen Christ. An event that draws faithful and visitors from all over the province of Catania every year.
