Edition 2025 — Holy Week Cerignola

In 2025, the Holy Week Rites once again brought the historic center of Cerignola to life on Good Friday, April 18, and Holy Saturday, April 19. The processions of the Mysteries, the Desolata, the Dead Christ, and Santa Maria della Pietà renewed a centuries-old tradition, amidst funeral marches, silence, and great popular participation.

The 2025 edition

In 2025, the celebrations took place according to the usual calendar: Good Friday with the morning procession of the Mysteries, the Desolata in the evening, and the Way of the Cross of the Dead Christ late at night; Holy Saturday with the procession of Santa Maria della Pietà, carried by female confraternities. The streets of the center of Cerignola, in the province of Foggia, were filled with worshippers, confirming the identity strength of a devotion handed down from generation to generation.
