Edition 2025 — Procession of the Mysteries of Trani

In 2025, Trani's Holy Week once again renewed its most deep-rooted tradition, from Palm Sunday (April 13) to Easter (April 20). The Good Friday Procession of the Mysteries, on April 18, led the fourteen statues of the Passion from the Cathedral Basilica through the historic center, with local confraternities and a large crowd of faithful following the route.

Holy Week 2025 in Trani

In 2025, the rites of Holy Week in Trani, in the heart of the BT province, took place according to the usual liturgical schedule curated by the Archconfraternity of the Bianchi and the Cathedral Chapter. On Good Friday, April 18, the penitential Procession of the Mysteries departed in the evening from the Cathedral Basilica, winding through the streets and squares of the old town with the statues of the Passion carried on the shoulders of the confraternities. The participation of citizens and visitors confirmed the importance of this event in the calendar of Puglian popular traditions.
