Edition 2025 — I Sanpauluna
The 2025 edition of the Aragonese Holy Week confirmed the strength of a living tradition, capable of drawing faithful and visitors to the historic center of Aragona. The brotherhoods led the processions from the Mother Church to Calvary, while on the evening of Good Friday, the urn of the dead Jesus traveled along the Strada dei Santi amidst the funeral chants intoned by the faithful.
The most anticipated moment was, as always, The Incontru on Easter Sunday: at noon, in Piazza Umberto I, the Madonna dropped her black mantle to meet the Risen Christ, accompanied by the Sanpauluna, the giant puppets of Saint Peter and Saint Paul. The celebrations extended into the following Sundays with the processions of the Madonna del Rosario, the town's patron saint.
