Holy Week 2025 in Siculiana

The 2025 edition of the Holy Week in Siculiana, in the province of Agrigento, took place from April 13 to 20, following the liturgical calendar. The community renewed the ancient rites passed down since the 17th century, with the participation of the six local brotherhoods.

The central moments marked the days of the Holy Triduum: the Palm Sunday procession from the Church of Sant'Antonino to the Mother Church, the evocative evening procession of the Ecce Homo and the Addolorata on Maundy Thursday with the meeting in Piazza Piano, the Via Crucis and the deposition of Christ into the 19th-century wooden Urn on Good Friday, and finally the festive Meeting between the Risen Christ and the Addolorata on Easter Sunday.
