Holy Week 2025 in Conversano

The 2025 edition began with Palm Sunday on April 13, with the blessing of the palms and the procession toward the Cathedral. On Holy Thursday, April 17, the morning Chrism Mass and the evening Mass of the Lord's Supper with the traditional visit to the altars of repose were celebrated.

Good Friday, April 18, represented the heart of the rites: at 4:00 AM, the Procession of the Black Christ from Santa Maria dell'Isola through the historic center, at 11:00 AM the Procession of the Addolorata from the Carmine church, and in the evening, the procession of the Mysteries concluding in the square. Holy Saturday, April 19, and Easter Sunday, April 20, closed the celebrations with the Easter Vigil and the Solemn Pontifical Mass in the Cathedral, accompanied by the Miserere chants and city bands.
